Tummy time, et al

Hello! I had a busy weekend, so wasn't able to post until this morning. Went shopping with mom and dad on Saturday, wherein I acquired some snazzy new footie pajamas. Then, we attempted to go on a nice long hike on Sunday, but mom and dad forgot about all the fire and flood damage in the San Gabriels, so both spots we tried were closed until further notice. So we basically hiked for only about an hour before having to turn back for lack of trail. They get points for effort! I came home and had tummy time, so at least my neck got some exercise...

A grand day out

Yesterday, I reached the 12 pound mark. In celebration, we visited dad at his office where I tried to work my charms on his very nice colleagues - I was relatively well behaved (I made a little noise at the end when I needed lunch). Then mom and I went to galleries in West Hollywood and saw some pretty good shows. I rather liked this Jack Pierson piece at Regen Projects - I thought it'd make a nice illustration for today's post. Looking forward to a weekend with mom and dad, taking care of errands and watching Deadwood (not me on that last one, just mom and dad).

Ah, spring!

It was such a nice afternoon (and mom is in such desperate need of exercise) that we decided to go for a stroll around the Rose Bowl. As you can see, it put me right to sleep, even with my trusty Jacques the Peacock to play with. [Note to self: Too many sleeping photos on this blog. Get photographed while conscious next time...]

I am wiped out but also at peace with myself after an intense Mommy and Me yoga class. Be still and open to the universe.

Here're some photos from a few days ago. They really showcase my expressive versatility. Please excuse my mom's hair and hand (I'm not so good at sitting up on my own just yet).

Although it's morning here, I'm on a leisurely schedule and still conked out. Here's a picture of me sleeping in what dad calls my "grub outfit."

Oh, also I weigh 11 pounds 10 ounces!

Today, we went shopping, among other things. As we live in sunny So Cal, and we've been experiencing nearly 80 degree days, mom felt it was high time for a sun hat. It's a little big, but I'm assured that it will fit in no time. Is the pose too contrived?

Today is very nap intensive. I'm turning into something of a night owl, so Mom is getting me on a sleep kick. My day looks something like this: Eat. Sleep. Bat at some toys. Eat. Sleep. Lie on my tummy. Eat...It's not complicated, but apparently, complexity will come later. P.S. Happy St. Patty's day - I was wearing something green, but (surprise) I spit up all over it and had to change.
