Montage - Fin Fun

Hello, friends, family, fans...I apologize for not posting for a while. It's been a busy few months, so to catch you all up, I'm posting a bunch of photos to give you some visual highlights. Climbing a rock in Little Tokyo, dinner at the Boiling Crab (excellent king crab legs, but don't rub your eyes after you eat them!), me and mom with Christmas lights in Tulsa, me on my brand new tricycle, and eating a celebratory birthday cupcake to mark the passing of my 2nd year. More soon!

SF fun! Really!

We just got back from a great weekend in San Francisco with grandma, grandpa and Uncle Blake. So awesome! Loved it - although it may not look like it from this photo. I had just gotten out of the rain forest exhibition at the California Academy of Sciences, and I *really* don't do well in moist heat. I was just starting to recover in the cool of the aquarium. Not my best moment, but rest assured, I fully recovered and enjoyed the rest of the day.

Livestock!

We went apple picking over the weekend, but there were no apples (bad frosts, not enough apples for the public to pick)...but there were animals! I like farms!

Riding the trails

I rode a pony for the first time on Friday. Griffith Park rules.

School spirit

Howdy! Mom got me this swell t-shirt on her last trip to her alma mater. I think it looks pretty good on me, as you can tell. Class of '21!

Taikotastic

My favorite outing of the weekend was the closing day of Little Tokyo Nisei Week.  Loved the taiko drum performances all day - afterward, daddy decided I had "taiko tummy" and would play me like a giant drum. Ha ha. Here you see me taking it all in. There was also a cool obon dance session in the streets to wind down the weekend, which frankly took a while to get going but was neat once it started.
